leaking toilet waste pipe|sealing flexible waste pipe onto toilet,xxx.love

Hi, I thought I had a 10 mins job to re fit my toilet after some tiling but it has turned into a bit of a nightmare. After re connecting the toliet I had a leak (excuse the pun) from the toliet waste when the toliet was flusleaking toilet waste pipehed. The seal on the waste was not too hot but as its behind my nice new tiling I was reluctant to replace it.

The only real way to sort this is to remove the loo from the waste pipe and renew the pan connector.....use Toolstations 72849 if the connection is straight, but if its out of line a bit then 55280 is the one to go for. No amount of bodging on these seems to work! John

yes its downstairs toilet. I will wrap it up with polystyrene around the soil waste outlet (which is 90 deg and boxed) as the unpleasant draft is coming from there. Hope this helps a bit and stop the creatures. Will keep checking for leaks on a monthly basis or so in future. Appreciate your help thanks
